What's Been Going On

So, softball season ended. It's very bittersweet. I already miss the girls, but I don't miss the league. It's a horrible league that teaches winning at all costs and no sportsmanship. I hate those types of leagues. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Dave has been working part-time. He's starting a new job that is supposed to give him 30 hours, so that's excellent. He's looking for another job with fewer hours to work after the first since it will end at 3PM. He loves working. Plus, we need to get our own place.

I am very close to getting a nanny job in Orange County. Yes, Dave's job is also there. As long as I pass the background check and the couple trial days I'm in. I hope they don't run a credit check. A background check without the credit part is not a problem. The little girl is seven months and is absolutely adorable.

Now, if I get that job, we will be moving into Orange County as soon as we can. Our jobs will be in south county, but there is no way we can afford to live down there. As such, we will have to live in north county. In order to avoid as much traffic as possible, because the 5 during rush hour is not something I wish on my worst enemy, we will do one toll road. It will lessen the trip sooooooooooooooooooooooo much. The five bucks is completely worth it I say.

That's about all that is going on with us. It has been a lot of work and looking for work. Hopefully I'll have more interesting things to post if I get the job.

They're So Cute

So, the kids are so cute when they play softball. All of my kids are either 6 or 7. That is a very adorable age when playing sports. They have gotten a lot better, too. We didn't have the scrimmage, though. The other team scheduled a different scrimmage that wasn't on the schedule.

Oh My Wow, It's Been Awhile

It's been a month and half since I last updated. Not much happens here. I'm pretty boring. Every day consists of being depressed because we have no money and no jobs. I had to get some money from my dad for books for my stupid class. Seriously, this class is the useless class they make everyone take to prove they know how to use the Internet. The books cost $150 for the ridiculous class. It isn't even an academic class. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I started coaching an 8 and under softball team with my mom. I am sooooooooooooo not happy with the league, though. This upcoming week we have four games. That's way too much for six and seven year olds. I'm deciding if I should say something to the board or not. What do you guys think?

As I mentioned, Dave and I still haven't found jobs. For goodness' sake, we interviewed at job fair at the baseball stadium. We were practically the only ones there over 16, and we were actually dressed nicely. We still didn't get hired. This is getting a bit ridiculous. I know they hired inexperienced high school kids over us. It's really maddening. Don't people know that we actually need money? Those high school kids don't. I heard many of them in line. They just want extra cash. We need money to live. I also don't like the people there who were getting a second job so they could keep living the lifestyle they were living before. It's one thing if you need two jobs to survive, but these people just wanted the extra security. I'm sorry, but when so many people can't find one job, they don't need two jobs just so they can still get the latte everyday.

Sorry, I'm ranting. It's just upsetting to me. Dave has had interviews, but yet no one calls. I can't even get interviews.

I'll try to make the next post happier. Maybe I'll post about how cute my team is in our scrimmage Tuesday night.

Everybody Say Yay

Dave finally got his license. Yay for him. Now I don't have to drive everywhere. Woot woot. In other car news, we have to replace ALL of our lights. Let's see. Two headlights, two front side lights, two front blinkers, two tail lights, two brake lights, one high brake light, two rear side lights, and two rear blinkers. That's a lot of lights. Who knew there were so many darn lights on a car. Then there are the other ones that I'm not replacing such as the dome light, license plate light, and glove compartment light.

Vista

Seriously, who thought Vista was a good idea? I'm sorry, it's not making me happy right now. It won't play my Sims 2 properly. I spent good money on this computer and Sims, and it won't play it. I found out that a lot of people are having the same problem I'm having. Plus, none of the solutions you can find online work for me. Now I'm stuck. Dh isn't starting work until Saturday, and it's going to take forever to save up to get something else. It just makes me mad because we've spent soooooooooooo much money on these things. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. We're going to save up for a Mac, though. It's too hard to find a computer without Vista. And, Sims 3 is coming out sometime this year. As such, I will not buy a Mac version until that one comes out.

Some Family Pictures

Here are some pictures of my family. They are all a little old.

1. My favorite person besides Dave. I love my niece. This was her fourth birthday party in August. She was really excited to get her pages I hear. Methinks she is going to be a nerd as I.
2. My sister, mom, and me. My other sister wasn't there. This one is recent. It's from October.
3.This was Thanksgiving last year. It's how Christmas normally is for my family. Earlier there were more people, but they left before the picture. I believe nine people left before the picture.
