Hello
So, New York didn't happen. We decided we weren't ready to move that far yet. So, we moved to the Chicago area instead. It's really nice here. Lots of trees and fewer people. I need to figure out the whole winter with skirts thing. We don't have much money at all for me to get new clothes. I guess we'll have to see if the thrift store has any good thicker skirts on sale. I went to WalMart to look for long underwear and couldn't find any. This socal girl is completely clueless.

I'm pretty sure no one else reads this so it's kind of private. It would be nice to exchange addresses in case you can't blog anymore. You give me so much information on your area. Just let me know if you want to. I'll give you my email if you do. Plus, it might be nice to get letters once in awhile you know.
Chicago is wonderful! I'm envious! (in the nicest possible way of course!) I hope you're enjoying it! And yes I know it can get immensely cold in the midwest in Winter... but just layer up and you'll be fine. When I lived in St. Louis (and often visited Chicago as I had friends there) I found that I never ended up needing long underwear/thermals anyhow, as long as I rugged up right! You'll get the hang of it :)
